The invention discloses a metal composite coating with ceramic serving as a basic body. The metal composite coating comprises a surface layer and a middle layer, wherein the middle layer is a nonmetal coating which is made from high polymer materials generally, the surface layer is a metal coating which is mainly made of any one of Cu, Cr, Al or Ti, and the surface layer is formed on the middle layer through a vacuum plating process. The metal composite coating adopts structural design of double layers, and the middle layer is a high polymer coating. The metal composite coating can effective improve bonding strength between the surface metal and the ceramic basic body, enables the surface metal to keep good appearance performance under cold, hot, humid, acid-base and dust environments, can replace metal materials including copper, aluminum, stainless steel and the like, and can reduce production cost.
