Summary: | The invention relates to a calculation method of the size of an incident wave in a medium, in particular to a method for determining the size of the incident wave in an elastic rod with axial static load. In the method, the size of the incident wave in the elastic rod is calculated according to a formula shown in the description, wherein sigmaI is the size of the incident wave in the elastic rod with the axial static load, rho1c1 is the wave impedance of a punching head, rho2c2 is the wave impedance of the elastic rod, v is the impact velocity of the punching head, A1 and A2 are areas of the cross sections of the punching head and the elastic rod, and sigma s is the size of the axial static load in the elastic rod. The method has the advantages that the determined size of the incident wave is accurate, the operation is simpler, easier and more reliable, and the errors caused by measuring the size of the incident wave by utilizing a foil gauge are overcome. |
