The invention discloses a method and a system for showing a real object. The method comprises the following steps: (A) carrying out image scanning on a real object to acquire a video image of the real object; (B) acquiring the video image by a video acquiring filter in a filter chart; (C) marking the video image in the step (B) or clearing mark information on the video image through an open-source computer image library; and (D) dividing the video image processed in the step (C) into two paths by a filter chart, wherein one path of video image is displayed on a screen, while the other path of video image is stored in a memory. With the adoption of the method and the system for showing the real object, the problems that the video images shown by a real object exhibition stand cannot be repeatedly and interactively marked, and the mark information on the video images cannot be cleared.
