The invention discloses a fixture for machining a belt tensioner of an automobile engine. The fixture comprises a bottom plate, wherein two cushion blocks are symmetrically arranged on the lower surface of the bottom plate; two positioning seats are arranged on the left and right sides of the bottom plate; an air compression corner cylinder is arranged beside each positioning seat; each air compression corner cylinder is connected with one end of each pressing plate; two positioning steel ball screws are arranged on the lower surface of the other end of each pressing plate side by side; and fool-proof seats are arranged on the bottom plate on the rear parts of the two positioning seats. The fixture has the advantages that the fixture has a simple structure, product quality is ensured, and working efficiency is improved.
