Summary:The invention relates to the technical field of medicines, in particular to a process for preparing 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene-1-amine. The process for preparing the 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene-1-amine which is an intermediate for synthesizing rasagiline mesylate comprises the following step of: reducing 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene-1-ketoxime with aluminium amalgam in an ethanol aqueous solution to obtain the 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene-1-amine so as to achieve the aim of synthesizing the 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene-1-amine with low cost. The process has the characteristics of simple process, low cost, easy operation, no risk and high yield.
