Summary:The invention relates to an emulsifier for an emulsion explosive and a preparation method for the emulsifier. The emulsifier is a poly-alkyl carboxylic acid polyglycerol ester-type emulsifier obtained by performing esterification on poly-alkyl succinic anhydride and polyglycerol, wherein the component of the poly-alkyl succinic anhydride is 500-3500, and the degree of polymerization of the polyglycerol is 2-12. The emulsifier is good in emulsifying property. When the emulsion explosive is prepared, an emulsion can be easily formed, and the storage stability of the emulsion explosive is improved. The emulsifier is suitable for preparing the emulsion explosive with a longer storage time.
