Summary:The invention relates to a method for improving capacity of a track traffic vehicle base for exiting and entering a section/field. The method is achieved through the following steps: designing a vehicle section layout; designing a main line layout; designing layouts of an upstream interconnection line and a downstream interconnection line between a vehicle section and a main line; bringing the upstream interconnection line and the downstream interconnection line into the vehicle section; and designing a shunting automatic tracking access including a safety protection area in the vehicle section and finishing shunting rank automatic tracking section exiting. The method has the advantages of being favorable for vehicle base site selection and city track traffic resource sharing, guaranteeing city track traffic resource integration, and simultaneously bringing design transportation capacity into full play.
