The invention provides a projection device with an interaction function and a projection method. The projection device comprises a display unit, a playing unit, a rotatable lens module and a motor, wherein the playing unit is used for playing a record, the display unit is used for displaying an image generated by the record played by the playing unit, and the motor is used for controlling the rotation of the lens module. The projection device also comprises a sensor, wherein the sensor is used for sending a rotating angle and a rotating direction generated when the rotatable lens module rotates; and the playing unit is also used for regulating the played record according to the rotating angle and the rotating direction provided by the sensor. By adopting the projection device and the projection method provided by the invention, a certain interaction is added between a projector and a projection picture.
