Disclosed is an exhaust purification device provided in an internal combustion engine, comprising an exhaust pipe, an exhaust purification catalyst, and an exhaust guide portion. The exhaust pipe extends downward from the front side portion of the internal combustion engine, and has a downstream port. The exhaust purification catalyst extends below the internal combustion engine in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The exhaust guide portion connects the downstream port to the front end of the exhaust purification catalyst so that the central axis of the exhaust pipe is inclined with respect to the central axis of the exhaust purification catalyst. The exhaust guide portion connects the downstream port to the front end of the exhaust purification catalyst so that at least a part of an extended portion obtained when the downstream port is extended toward the downstream side, abuts with the lower portion of the inner surface of the exhaust guide portion.
