Summary:The invention discloses an embroidery machine thread shearing apparatus. The apparatus comprises a support and a thread shearing device, and the support fixes the apparatus on the body of an embroidery machine, and fixes the thread shearing device in a fixed position which is above an embroidery frame and has a distance to a needle greater than a required minimum reservation length of an embroidery thread after needle hole traversing; and when thread shearing is needed, the embroidery frame sends the unsheared embroidery surface thread connected on an embroidery cloth to a thread shearing port of the thread shearing device through the movement of the embroidery frame under the control of an embroidery machine control system to complete thread shearing.
