The processing method of the spatial position information database comprises acquiring coordinate data of a spatial position; generating spatial position information codes corresponding to the spatial position according to the coordinate data; and storing the spatial position information codes in the spatial position information database, and enabling the spatial position information codes to serve as index and position information of the spatial position in the database. An embodiment can simplify a spatial database field structure, and accordingly the occupied storage space is saved. Simple indexes are used, and topological inquiry is facilitated and accelerated. The technical scheme is suitable for the spatial information database.
