Summary:A card connector includes an insulating housing defining a card receiving space; a set of first contacts supported by the insulative housing and adapted for mating with a first card, and the first contacts having at least one grounding contact; a set of second contacts supported by the insulative housing and adapted for mating with a second card, the second contacts having at least one grounding contact; a set of third contacts supported by the insulative housing and adapted for mating with a third card, the third contacts having at least one grounding contact; and at least two of the grounding contacts commonly grounded, so that the space the card connector taken is reduced which makes the card connector becomes more compact and the whole becomes miniaturization.
