The invention relates to an anti-rust method for the metal surface, comprising the following steps of: 1) blasting sand on the surface of a part needing protection; 2) coating primer on the metal surface; 3) if other parts are assembled and welded on a metal part coated with the primer, grinding heat-affected zones of welding seams, and recoating the primer; 4) coating the finish paint on the metal surface; 5) coating an anti-rust agent on the metal surface coated with the finish paint; and 6) inspecting a finished product. According to the method provided by the invention, the problems of the rust of a metal product and especially the protection and the rust of the finished product coated with the paint in the process of marine transport are solved, the quality of the product is ensured, the cost is reduced and the labor efficiency is improved.
