The invention provides an engine anti-theft system capable of integrating an engine anti-theft function into a car body control module. The engine anti-theft system comprises a transponder, an anti-theft coil, an engine control module, an anti-theft base station, and an encryption and decryption algorithm module, wherein the anti-theft coil communicates with the transponder; the transponder transmits safe password information to the anti-theft coil; the anti-theft coil transmits the acquired safe password information to the anti-theft base station integrated into the car body control module through a hard wire; the anti-theft base station encrypts the safe password information and then transmits the safe password information to a main control unit in the car body control module; and the encrypted information is decrypted and verified through the encryption and decryption algorithm module in the main control unit.
