The invention provides a control system for a broadcasting network, and the system comprises a control center and control node units arranged on various links of the broadcasting network, wherein the control center is used for obtaining the state information of each control node unit and monitoring the state of each control node unit according to the information and is in charge of formulating and updating a monitoring strategy and issuing the monitoring strategy to each control node unit; and the control node units are connected with the control center and are used for providing the state information of the control node units to the control center, receiving the monitoring strategy issued by the control center and monitoring data streams on the link according to the monitoring strategy. The control system disclosed by the invention can be used for monitoring the service and content of the whole NGB (Next Generation Broadcasting), and ensuring the safety of an NGB network.
