Summary:The invention relates to a caliper (1) of a disk brake, comprising a housing (2) having a bore hole (4), in which a piston (3) is disposed in an axially displaceable manner, and a shaft (5) for actuation, which is rotatably mounted in the housing in an axially displaceable manner, and an adjustment device (20) having a spindle (21) to compensate for brake pad wear, wherein an axial bearing (15) is provided between the spindle and shaft. In order to improve wear resistance, according to the invention the axial bearing is integrally formed from a homogeneous material matrix.
