Summary:The invention discloses a loess region abrupt slope micro-landform forestation method, which comprises the following steps that: site type of a loess sloping surface is firstly classified, revegetation and reconstruction difficulty of different site types are investigated and searched, and a main vegetation type is correspondently determined; quantity and characteristics of local micro-landform are investigated in the sloping surface with the same site condition, and corresponding arbor and/or shrub tree species in the micro-landform are determined according to different living environmental conditions of the micro-landform; and finally trees are planted according to an arbor (or shrub) tree species ratio and position as well as plant community structure configuration, which are determined collectively by the site type and the micro-landform. An arbor, shrub and grass configured mode simulating a natural ecological environment is formed, the method is suitable for building artificial forests on Loess Plateau
