The invention provides a method and a system for dispatching resources based on road network data, wherein the method comprises the following steps of: receiving real-time message with traffic road condition real-time information and police force resource dynamic information, and according to the real-time message, determining weight factor for path planning; according to the weight factor, predefined path planning algorithm and pre-stored road network data, determining at least one path for resource dispatching; and according to at least one path and resource corresponding to the at least one path, executing resource dispatching operation. The reasonable, effective and timely path analysis result can be obtained, so that important basis is provided for decision in resource dispatching and distributing process, and the resource dispatching and distributing process can be optimized.
