Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which allows smooth opening/closing of a door over an extended period.SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a refrigerator body equipped with a storage chamber having an opening, a door for opening/closing the opening of the refrigerator body, and a protruding part provided vertically on both left and right sides of the door on the storage chamber side. The protruding part is so provided that the distance between the protruding part and the side wall of the storage chamber is longer at an upper part than at a lower part, and in such condition as the door sags for displacement, the protruding part will not contact the side wall of the storage chamber.
