Summary:The invention relates to a glass-mica composite material, which is composed of 35-60 wt% of glass and 40-65 wt% of mica and has a coefficient of thermal expansion of 13.0*10<-6>K<-1>-17.0*10<-6>K<-1>. The glass-mica composite material of the invention has a coefficient of thermal expansion closer to the linear expansion coefficient of metal materials, and not only well solves the CTE (coefficient of thermal expansion) matching problem between insulating materials and metal inserts, but also overcomes the problem of insulator failure resulted from a thermal shock process, thus improving the work stability of insulation products in various temperature environments.
