Summary:Disclosed is a driving assistance apparatus (1), which is a lane-keeping apparatus that assists with the driving of a vehicle so that the vehicle travels along a set target course; the apparatus comprises a vehicle control ECU (2), camera (3), image ECU (4), steering torque sensor (7) and steering torque application unit (9). The vehicle control ECU (2) comprises a prediction unit (21) for predicting the track of vehicles travelling alongside, that predicts the track of vehicles travelling alongside, which are travelling along an adjacent lane, and a target course correction unit (23) that corrects the target course of the vehicle in which this target course correction unit is installed, in accordance with the projected track of vehicles travelling alongside.
