Summary:The invention discloses a split type mouse and a method thereof for responding to a key operation in application to terminal equipment. In the invention, a second mouse body is additionally arranged to make a roller positioned on the second mouse body, the roller comprises an upper key for rolling upwards and a lower key for rolling downwards, and the purposes of controlling a first mouse body with a right hand and controlling the second mouse body with a left hand are achieved, so that the moving frequency of the two hands are distributed reasonably, and the fatigue degree of the right hand is reduced; in addition, the continuous rolling of the upper key and the lower key is beneficial to prevention of the condition that the roller of the traditional mouse needs to be ceaselessly rolled by fingers, so that the fatigue degree of the right hand is further decreased and high working efficiency is achieved.
