Summary:The invention discloses a novel hard seal gate valve which comprises a valve body and a gate plate which is arranged in the valve body; the valve body is internally provided with a medium channel; two seal ring surfaces are arranged on the medium channel in the valve body; the gate plate is provided with two seal surfaces which respectively correspond to the seal ring surfaces; the gate plate moves up and down in the valve body so that the seal surfaces and the seal ring surfaces are jointed or separated to close or open the medium channel; and the valve body is internally provided with a limit structure which limits the horizontal movement of the gate plate. The seal gate valve provided by the invention has the advantages of simple structure and low cost, is convenient to manufacture, after the limit structure is added, the horizontal swing of the gate plate in the gating process can be reduced, and the sealing property of the joint between the seal surfaces and the seal ring surfaces is improved greatly.
