Provided are a vehicle lashing hardware having cutout portions controlled in their positions so that the side lower portions between the cutout portions may be subjected to automatic intermittent welding treatments, and a method for mounting the vehicle lashing hardware at drastically reduced welding steps. The vehicle lashing hardware is made of a flat steel bar and formed into a square bar shape having a square section. A plurality of notches are worked in advance at an equal pitch on the side to be welded to the floor of a ship. With the vehicle lashing hardware being mounted on the floor, the notches form hook portions between themselves and the floor face for hanging the lashing hooks for lashing the vehicle mounted.
