Summary:The invention brings forward an oxygen-rich bottom blown copper smelter and an oxygen-rich bottom blown technology for extraction of copper. The oxygen-rich bottom blown copper smelter comprises a furnace body which defines a cavity therein and is provided with a feed inlet, a flue gas outlet, a copper sulfonium outlet, a slag hole, oxygen lance jacks formed in the bottom of the furnace body and oxygen lances which are inserted in the oxygen lance jacks for blowing oxygen-rich gas into a copper sulfonium layer in the cavity. According to the oxygen-rich bottom blown copper smelter and the oxygen-rich bottom blown technology for extraction of copper in embodiments of the invention, materials need not to be granulated, thereby simplifying the operation of smelting and reducing cost; most oxygen reacts with sulfides in the copper sulfonium layer, little oxygen enters with reacted gas into a slag layer from the copper sulfonium layer, the content of resultant magnetic iron in slag is low, viscosity of the slag is
