Summary:The invention discloses a touch element. The touch element converts a touch point position to a control signal. The touch element comprises a base plate, a conducting thin film layer, a plurality of conducting end points and an electrode pattern, wherein the conducting thin film layer is arranged on the base plate and generates an electrical change according to the touch point position; the plurality of conducting end points are arranged at peripheral corners of the conducting thin film layer and correspondingly output the control signal according to the electrical change; the electrode pattern consists of a plurality of electrodes and is arranged on the conducting thin film layer; and a first electrode strip and a second electrode strip, which are positioned peripherally, extend to a side edge between two conducting end points in the plurality of conducting end points. The touch element improves the detection accuracy of a touch position of a touch area edge.
