A laid type cable drag apparatus comprises: an arm-type back wheel, a detecting arm, an arm adjusting cylinder, a driving chain, a rotatable top cylinder, a driving mechanism, a fixed ceiling disk, a gauge adjuster, a chassis and a chassis brake mechanism. The detecting arm is a main body function piece. The arm-type back wheel is arranged on a front end of the detecting arm. The driving chain isarranged between the arm-type back wheel and the driving mechanism and along the detecting arm. A rear end of the detecting arm is fixedly arranged on the fixed ceiling disk. The arm adjusting cylinder is connectedly arranged on a lower side surface of the detecting arm. A lower end of the arm adjusting cylinder is fixed on the rotatable top cylinder. The chassis is arranged under the rotatable top cylinder. The chassis brake mechanism is connected with the chassis. The gauge adjuster is arranged between supporting legs of the chassis. The chassis is a main body supporting piece and is located on a track through wheel
