The power factor compensation equipment comprises a microprocessor as well as a signal sampling circuit, a display circuit and a drive circuit connected with the microprocessor. The invention is not interfered by harmonic waves, does not need the support of a voltage synchronizing signal, can work stably, can additionally obtain the harmonic components of voltages and currents without complex Fourier calculation, and has extremely simple hardware circuits and a low cost.
