Summary:This invention relates to application of laterite nickel ore in producing sinter and a production method for the sinter utilizing the nickel laterite ore, and also provides the sinter produced by the method. In the technical scheme provided by the invention, high, medium, low-grade laterite nickel ore are used to partially or completely substitute for ordinary iron ore for sinter production, reduces the production cost of the sinter, improves the application range of the laterite nickel ore, and sufficiently utilizes nickel, chromium, magnesium, manganese and other useful elements in the lateritic nickel ore.
