Summary:The invention provides a method and a system for detecting a light source, wherein the method comprises the following steps: receiving an incidence light source through the through holes of a light spot modulating plate to form a light spot on an imaging plate; then, obtaining the image of the light spot and detecting the light intensity distribution region of the light spot to regionalize the intensity of the light spot, transmitting the image of the light spot and the light intensity regions to a processing device; and finally, identifying the image of the light spot and the light intensity regions by utilizing the processing device so that a light source position signal and intensity information corresponding to the light spot through a preset algorithm.
