The invention relates to a preparation method of a clinquant decorative film, which is tightly combined by a base material, a golden yellow film surface and a printing film, from bottom to top. The method comprises the following steps: 1) calendering the base material; 2) preparing the printing film; 3) printing film surface; 4) mating. According to the invention, a titanium dioxide and a fire retardant are added into the base material to obtain an opaque base material with flame retardation function. A corona processing is carried out on the base material to enhance a mating fastness; a great amount of valuable gold powder is saved as a result of a secondary printing technology, so as to keep a small amount of gold powder all stay at the printing surface, but not be covered by a thick ink film; and the fire retardant is added into the printing film to realize flame retardation function both inside and outside the decorative film.
