The invention provides processing technology of a low-cost high-performance bromine-containing flame-retardant HIPS material, and is characterized in that: the process comprises the following main steps: step 1, processing chlorinated polyethylene CPE with high fluidity; firstly mixing chlorinated polyethylene CPE, a lubricant, and a heat stabilizer in a high-speed mixer, then feeding the mixed materials in a twin-roll rubber fining mixer for mixing and refining, taking out the prepared sheet-shaped products, cooling and pulverizing into granular products; step 2, mixing the following components on a weight basis in the high-speed mixer: 4-6% of decabromodiphenylethane, 4-5% of tetrabromobisphenol A, 7-10% of CPE, 4-4.8% of Sb2O3, 77-80% of HIPS, and 0.5% of auxiliary agents, performing plasticization and extrusion in a twin-screw extruder, then performing extrusion and strip-pulling, cutting the materials after cooling, and packaging to obtain a finished product.
