The invention discloses a bromhidrosis detector and a method for evaluating the bromhidrosis degree by using the same. The bromhidrosis detector comprises a gas collecting device, a gas detecting device, a power supply and a power supply switch. The method for evaluating the bromhidrosis degree by the bromhidrosis detector comprises the following steps: (1) preparing before the detection; (2) converting a gas into voltage and current signals; (3) converting the voltage and current signals into digital signals; (4) linearly processing the digital signals; and (5) outputting numerical values. The invention has the advantages that an objective evaluation basis for the bromhidrosis degree is supplied to dermatologists, and the numerical values are precise. Specifically a digital standard can be supplied to operation indications; and the therapeutic effect can be determined for bromhidrosis patients via the method disclosed by the invention; and the method even can help to remove bromhidrosis symptoms.
