Summary:The present invention discloses a relay device and a method thereof. Provided is the relay device (130) with a configuration which, even when the information providing device which distributes content has been changed, guarantees the communication quality of distributed content at the relay device and prevents distorted video from being distributed to a terminal device. When a response packet received from an information providing device having a first domain name indicates a forward request, the relay device (130) associates a second domain name, which is included in the response packet and indicates a second information providing device, with the first domain name, and updates a service information table.
