Summary:Provided is an ultrasonographic device which enables an operator to know the timing for adjusting image quality and decide whether to perform optimization upon display of a tomogram. The ultrasonographic device includes: an ultrasonic probe which transmits an ultrasonic wave to a biological tissue and receives a reflection wave of the ultrasonic wave reflected from the biological tissue; an imagebuilding unit which calculates displacement amounts of measurement object positions set in the tissue in accordance with the reflected wave and builds an image frame of a tomogram of the tissue; a display unit which displays the image frame; and a processing unit which analyzes the image characteristic amount associated with the image frame and compares the image characteristic amount with a predetermined reference characteristic amount.
