The invention relates to a roller shutter driving device. The roller shutter driving device comprises a motor (30) which is provided with a spindle (31), and is characterized by also comprising a magnetic brake (50); the magnetic brake comprises a solenoid device (54), a spring (56) arranged on the solenoid device, a rotation piece (58) which is arranged on the spindle (31) and rotates along with the spindle, and a friction piece (57) which is arranged between the spring (56) and the rotation piece (58); the friction piece (57) is in frictional contact with the rotation piece (58) under the action of elastic force of the spring (56); and the solenoid device absorbs the friction piece after being electrified, so that the friction piece overcomes the elastic force to be separated from the rotation piece. The roller shutter driving device comprises the magnetic brake which brakes the motor when the motor stops to prevent the spindle of the motor from rotating so as to prevent a roller shutter from sliding.
