Summary: | The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer and belongs to the field of optical sensor manufacturing. The method comprises the following steps of: making two fusion-connection points on a common single mode fiber at a distance of 5 mm to 60mm by using a fiber fusion splicer; allowing part of light transmitted in a fiber core to enter a fiber cladding when the light passes through the first fusion-connection point; allowing the light in the cladding to couple and return to the core of the fiber when the light passes through the second fusion-connection point; and allowing the two beams of light to generate a certain phase difference by means of the difference of the refractive indexes of the cladding and the fiber core so as to generate interference.
