The invention relates to a miniature base station and a communication method thereof. The miniature base station is used for a network system and the communication method is used in the miniature base station. A mobile device is connected to the miniature base station in a wireless mode. The miniature base station comprises a storage unit, a network packet monitoring unit and a processing unit, wherein the network packet monitoring unit monitors one packet of the mobile device; and the processing unit acquires an identification code of the mobile device from the packet, records the identification code in the storage unit, and establishes an uplink area service flow and a downlink area service flow of the mobile device based on the identification code. The uplink area service flow and downlink area service flow established by the miniature base station and the communication method in the invention are used for transmitting data in a local area network (LAN).
