Summary:Provided is a noninvasive alcohol sensor for measuring the concentration of ethanol with high accuracy while reducing the error dependent on the concentration of glucose. The alcohol sensor (10) includes first, second, and third light emitting means (21, 22, 23). The first light emitting means (21) emits a light having a wavelength of 1185 nm. The wavelength of 1185 nm is the one for which the absorptance of water is equal to that of ethanol. The second light emitting means (22) emits a light having a wavelength of 1710 nm. The third light emitting means (23) emits a light having a wavelength of 1750 nm. A light detecting means (30) detects the intensities of lights and a control means (60) calculates the concentration of the ethanol according to the intensities of lights.
