Summary: | The invention relates to a direct-current electric rotary machine, in particular a starter (1) for an automobile, wherein said machine comprises: a magnetised structure including at least a first type of sector (41; 42) having a magnetisation vector defining, with a radial direction, an angle that varies when moving along a circumference of the magnetised structure, the magnetisation in that sector having, at least locally, a direction different from the radial (F1) and orthoradial (F2) directions of the stator, the magnetic induction field in the air gap associated with this sector of the magnetised structure and the magnetic reaction of the rotor armature having normal components of opposite signs, the magnetic induction field generated by this sector of the magnetised structure being selected so as to have a profile bringing in an induction contribution by concentration of the magnetic flow at the locations where the effects of the armature magnetic reaction are opposed to those of the magnetised structure |
