A method for reinforcing a structure for railway rolling stock, said structure comprising a metal frame and a metal plate which is connected to the metal frame and which has a corrugated section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rolling stock, comprises a step of arranging a fiber sheet on at least a part of the metal plate of the structure, and a step of adhering the fiber sheet to the part of the metal plate by means of an impregnated adhesive resin to form a fiber-reinforced resin member.
