The invention discloses dihydromyricetin soft capsules and a preparation method thereof. The content of the dihydromyricetin soft capsules are prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 10 to 15 percent of dihydromyricetin and 85 to 90 percent of diluent, wherein the diluents is one or more of vegetable oil, polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol. The preparation method comprises: heating the diluent; adding dihydromyricetin powder formed by ball milling and by sieving with an 80-mesh sieve into the diluent; keeping the temperature after thermal dissolution is finished; and filling into soft capsule shells made from size, plasticizer, purified water and additive, sizing and drying.
