Summary:The invention relates to a filter rod production process for the seamless bonding of wrap paper and a tow filter rod. The filter rod is cylindrical, and wrap paper is wrapped outside the tow. The filter rod production process comprises the following steps of: coating a binder on the inner surface of the wrap paper; tightly bonding the wrap paper and the tow; and molding and cutting. The binder is a cellulose diacetate binder, and the wrap paper can be selected from smooth-surface thin paper produced from fiber pulp, or non-woven fabric thin paper. Corrugated grooves can be pressed on the surface of the wrap paper, and separation points are pressed on the corrugated grooves.
