Summary:The clutch (2) has an axially movable actuator (16) engaged to a central radius area of an annular disk stack with respect to a rotation axis. A resilient element (22) of the disk stack is in contact with the adjacent disk in the inactive state of the clutch in an outer area or an inner edge area of the disk stack. The element, when the disk stack is actuated, is in contact with another inner edge area or another outer edge area of the stack located opposite from the former edge area on the adjacent disk. The resilient element does not contact with the adjacent disk in the central radius area.
