Summary:The invention provides an economical seamless oil well pipe for an expansion pipe and a manufacturing method thereof. The oil well pipe comprises the following chemical components in percentage by weight: 0.08 to 0.18 percent of C, 0.2 to 0.5 percent of Si, 0.6 to 1.7 percent of Mn, less than or equal to 0.012 percent of P, less than or equal to 0.005 percent of S, 0.04 to 0.15 percent of V, 0.01to 0.03 percent of Ti and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities.
