Summary:The lock has a drive (4) i.e. electric motor, implementing a movement for moving a bolt (1) and a transmission device (5) between the drive and the bolt, where the drive, the transmission device and the bolt are coupled in terms of movement so as to directly transfer kinetic energy. Speed of the bolt is regulated via a control (9), where the drive is coupled in terms of movement to the bolt. The control is connected to a sensor (8) for determining position of a movable part of an opening relative to a fixed part of the opening. The sensor is a radio frequency identification (RFID) sensor, a pulse-echo sensor, a mechanical contact sensor, a reed contact sensor or a Hall sensor. The movable part is a door. The fixed part is a wall.
