The method comprises the following steps of: controlling exciting current of a permanent magnet linear motor when oscillation is started; controlling output power of a motor by adjusting the amplitude of the exciting current, the movement travel of a motor rotor and the speed of the motor; adjusting the permanent magnet linear motor to quickly move to reach a resonant frequency of the thermo-acoustic engine, driving the thermo-acoustic engine to run to reach a system resonant state and switching into an engine state to run; or adjusting the running speed of the permanent magnet linear motor, taking the thermo-acoustic engine as a dragging load of the permanent magnet linear motor, quickly starting oscillation under the action of the dragging of the motor; and switching into the engine state to run after the thermo-acoustic engine and the permanent magnet linear motor synchronously run to reach the resonant state.
