The invention discloses a light-emitting diode (LED) light source, which belongs to the technical field of illuminating devices. The LED light source comprises an LED lamp, a metal substrate, a radiating fin and an LED lamp shell, wherein the LED lamp shell is provided with a plurality of annular grooves; and each annular groove is provided with a detachable lamp shade. Based on the conventional single lamp shell, a plurality of detachable lamp shades are supposed outside the lamp shell and one or more lamp shades can be arranged according to the practical using requirement, so that light brightness can be adjusted; moreover, the lamp shade is fixed by a clamping spring, so that the LED light source has a simple structure and is convenient to use and very suitable for daily production life.
