The invention provides a method for mounting a medium-deep buried water stop of a tunnel archwall lining concrete toroidal construction joint, which comprises the following steps of: making a trolley in place; closing a template and fixing the medium-deep buried water stop to form an L shape by using a medium-deep buried water stop positioning hoop; casting and curing the concrete; and demolding, after an end wooden template is removed, straightening the medium-deep buried water stop positioning hoop and straightening the medium-deep buried water stop simultaneously so as to change the L-shaped medium-deep buried water stop into a straight medium-deep buried water stop.
