Summary: | This jig (2) comprises means (28) for gripping and holding the bodywork elements (4, 6) that are to be positioned, the jig (2) being able to position the gripping and holding means (28) relative to the body shell (8) in a vertical first direction (Z) and in horizontal second (X) and third (Y) directions, all the directions being mutually orthogonal. The jig (2) comprises: - a supporting frame (14) intended to press vertically on the body shell (8) of the vehicle (10) and to support the entire jig (2); - a mobile frame (16) for positioning the bodywork elements (4, 6) on the body shell (8) of the vehicle (10), the mobile frame (16) being mounted such that it can move on the supporting frame (14) and comprising gripping and holding means (28), the mobile frame (16) being intended to position the bodywork elements (4, 6) in the second and third directions (X, Y), the supporting frame (14) being intended to position the mobile frame (16) in the said first direction (Z). |
